# Ice Motion Director

> An open-source set of agent skills for motion graphics, motion design and video editing in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and 40+ other coding agents. You describe the video in one prompt, and your agent takes it from the brief and the script to a rendered MP4, writing every frame as code and checking it before you see it.

## Key facts

- A router skill reads the request and picks one of six workflows; every film then runs ten production stages, from a researched brief to delivery.
- Two ways to use it: one prompt (in Claude Code, start the first message with `/ice-motion-director:ice`; it researches first, asks about every open decision with four options each and at most four questions per message, asks nothing when the prompt covers everything or you say "don't ask", shows one preview if you are there, then runs to the final file), or step by step with the numbered commands `/ice-01-brief` to `/ice-10-deliver` (`/ice-motion-director:ice-01-brief` always works in Claude Code; "approved, go on" locks a stage and starts the next).
- Every frame is written as code and rendered on your machine with a browser and FFmpeg. Engines, chosen per film: HyperFrames, Remotion, HTML canvas with Playwright and FFmpeg, Three.js, Lottie, p5, FFmpeg alone.
- It is not an AI video generator: text, numbers and logos are always set in code. AI images, video or voices are optional extras, used only on request.
- Independent critics who did not build the film, and measured quality gates on the exported file, check it before you see it.
- Arabic and right-to-left are first class (the `ice-arabic` skill).
- The real cost is your agent's usage: a full film runs many stages and helper agents.

## Install

Any agent, interactive: `npx skills add Omar-Tnzxo/ice-motion-director` (Node 22.20 or newer). Every agent, no questions: `npx skills add Omar-Tnzxo/ice-motion-director -g --all`. Update: `npx skills update`. Keep every skill selected: the skills open each other.
