## Claims in the footage (truth sheet)
| Claim (spoken) | Check | On-screen use |
|---|---|---|
| "62 million new clients" (Hispanic Americans) | U.S. Census 2020 counted 62.1 million Hispanic people (Pew, "U.S. Hispanic population reached 70 million in 2025", pewresearch.org/chart/u-s-hispanic-population-reached-70-million-in-2025/). Vintage 2025 estimate: 70.1 million. | Shown as "62 MILLION" with the source line "U.S. CENSUS 2020" so the number is true as displayed. Heads-up: the current figure is about 70 million |
| "the fastest growing community demographic in America" | Not supported as stated: 2010 to 2020 the Asian population grew faster than the Hispanic population (Census 2020). Pew and AP describe Hispanics as "one of" the fastest growing groups | Kept in the captions (the speaker's words, never rewritten), never made a big keyword or a graphic |
| "no-cost membership" | Offer of a site that is offline today; unverifiable | Captioned only; the bullet card says "NO-COST MEMBERSHIP" as the ad's own offer |
| "reviews, your services, and more" | Matches the 2021 site ("Evalúa Tu Abogado", "Contacta un Abogado") | Bullet card |

## Industry rules
- Lawyer advertising rules (ABA Model Rules 7.1 to 7.3 and state bars) bind the attorneys' own ads to consumers; this ad addresses attorneys (B2B). The film avoids any "best lawyer" or results claim.
- Platform ad rules (Meta, TikTok, YouTube): a paid post must be marked as branded or sponsored content; the lower third carries "SPONSORED".

## Identity and rights
- Al Jazeera marks, studio look and end card are used as the user asked. Al Jazeera is a news brand: an ad in its identity reads as editorial endorsement. Publishing needs Al Jazeera's written permission; the film labels itself "SPONSORED" so it cannot pass as journalism.
- ConsultasAbogado.com: the domain does not resolve on 2026-10-28 (last Internet Archive capture 2021-03-31). Publishing the ad would send viewers to a dead address unless the owner reactivates it.
