## The idea
A US attorney hears that 62 million Hispanic Americans are reachable and sees ConsultasAbogado.com, a Spanish-language lawyer directory ("Encuentra Abogados en tu idioma"), list their firm for free. The film borrows the edit grammar of an Al Jazeera English explainer reel (rhythm, keyword timing, cards, splits, measured transitions) and dresses it in the advertiser's own navy, logo blue and green.
Strongest frame: 17.9 s, the advertiser's own site on the set's screen with "Busca Abogados" and "Contacta un Abogado" outlined in green as the presenter says "connects attorneys like you with Hispanic clients".
Next version: a 30 s and a 15 s cutdown that open on the site on the phone instead of the 62 million question.

## Beats
| # | Time | What it buys | Real or illustrative |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0-3.6 | The question with its number (U.S. Census 2020) | presenter footage, real |
| 2 | 3.6-10.9 | Who the clients are: Hispanic Americans, a naturalized family, America, your earnings | real photos (Wikimedia CC BY 2.0, NPS public domain, Architect of the Capitol public domain, Pexels) |
| 3 | 10.9-16 | The turn, the lower third, the logo title card with the site's own line | presenter real; logo official |
| 4 | 16-22.5 | The site doing its job, the price card | archived site capture, real |
| 5 | 22.5-41 | How it works: a client meets an attorney, the site on a phone, reviews and services, underserved clients, competitors | Pexels footage (illustrative stock); site UI real |
| 6 | 41-61 | Why now: ad spend, join free, stand out, find a niche, the two sides, always working | Highsmith courtroom (public domain), Pexels portraits (illustrative) |
| 7 | 61-72.7 | Call to action and end card (logo, address, JOIN FREE, no-cost membership) | official logo; address and offer from the script |

Yellow lights, one sentence each:
- Blue-purple ground 84 %: the advertiser's identity is navy and logo blue (`ice/assets/brand-sheet.json`); the brief's identity slot (D-19) requires it.
- Little fast action in 42-72 s: the second half is presenter-led by the script (offer, call to action); picture states still change every 2 to 3 s (cards, keywords, portraits, splits).
- Slow drift 68 %: slow push-ins and the screen's drift are the reference's camera language; there is no handheld or whip in the reference's studio passages.
- Fixed page frame 54 %: the advertiser's corner logo stays on screen, as the reference keeps its bug.

## Decisions taken for you (auto mode; one reply overturns any)
- Identity: the advertiser's own (D-19), after your note; Al Jazeera is a style reference only.
- Music: c2 "Motivational" by 331music (Pixabay), nearest to the reference bed by measurement (D-22). Alternatives kept: c1 "Confident Corporate Story" (echoes_of_lumen) and c3 "Corporate Ambient" (AtlasAudio); previews in `film/out/music_choices_v2/`.
- One continuous take, no internal cuts (D-05); film at 30 fps from 29.97 fps footage (D-16).
- Lower third: "CONSULTASABOGADO.COM / FOR ATTORNEYS" (the presenter's name is unknown; never invented).
- "62 MILLION" shown with "U.S. CENSUS 2020"; "fastest growing" kept in the captions only (D-11, D-12).
- The client portrait (55.9-58.5 s) reads pensive; a more hopeful portrait can replace it.

## Permissions before publishing
| Item | Needed from | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The advertiser's logo, site captures and the offer ("no-cost membership") | ConsultasAbogado.com | its own mark and site; the domain does not resolve today (last archive capture 2021-03-31), so the URL on screen leads nowhere until it is live again |
| The presenter's image and voice | whoever holds the rights to `raw.mp4` | supplied footage; the presenter is unnamed |
| crowd photo (S Pakhrin, CC BY 2.0) | credit shown on screen (done) | licence condition |
| Pexels clips and photos | none (Pexels License) | no resale of the clips as is |
| Public-domain photos (NPS, Architect of the Capitol, Carol M. Highsmith / LOC, NASA) | none | |
| Music c2, SFX (Pixabay Content License, Mixkit Sound Effects Free License) | none; commercial use allowed | |
| Al Jazeera | nothing of theirs is in the film | the reference was used for its edit grammar only |

## What is real and what is illustrative
Real: the presenter's footage and voice, the advertiser's logo and site (archived), the naturalization photo (NPS, 2024-11-06), the Capitol, the federal courtroom (Beaumont, Texas, 2013), the Dominican Day Parade photo (2019), the NASA map. Illustrative: the Pexels stock (consultation, phone, couple by a mural, lawyers walking, the attorney and client portraits, the attorney in S06); the phone screen is rebuilt from pieces of the real archived site.

## How it was checked, and what was not
Numbers come from the scripts above, run on the delivered file. Audio was measured, not heard: no person listened to the mix in this session. The site card, captions and keywords were checked by eye on full-size stills. Not run: storyboard lint, seam gate, template distance, fingerprint, a second independent brand read after the fixes.

## Fix next
1. Swap the pensive client portrait for a hopeful one.
2. A larger brand mark in the first second, so the film reads as an ad sooner (both cold reads said news-like until about 11 s).
3. 30 s and 15 s cutdowns with their own hooks.
4. Someone listens to the mix on a phone speaker and on headphones.

Self-critique: strongest is the site doing its job on the set's screen and the clean end card; weakest is the generic stock middle (22-41 s), which a rival could reuse; more time would buy footage of real Spanish-language legal consultations and a real recording of the site in use, if the advertiser reactivates it.
