## Targeting and placement limits
- TL-01 Paid placement by a non-owner: TikTok bans third-party brands without authorization, so a paid TikTok ad of this film needs Spotify's authorization (R-03 S-16); Google and Meta restrict confusing or infringing trademark use and accept rights-holder complaints (R-03 S-08, R-03 S-11, R-03 S-13); YouTube ads must be branded with the advertiser's or product's name or logo (R-03 S-09). Inferred: running this film as a paid ad by anyone other than Spotify conflicts with these rules; organic and gallery posting is judged by the platforms' trademark confusion test (R-03 S-10).
- TL-02 TikTok ad format, if used as an ad: 5 to 60 seconds, 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9, clear audio required (R-03 S-15). The 35 to 60 s duration in the brief sits inside this range.
- TL-03 Egypt contests: advertising a contest needs notice to the CPA first (R-03 S-05 art. 14); not planned in this film.
- TL-04 Egypt prior approvals under SCMR Decision 9 of 2025 cover health, medical, food and competitions only; none found for music streaming (R-03 S-04).
- TL-05 Children: in Egypt, no data from under-18s without parental consent (R-03 S-03, unconfirmed); the film collects no data.
- TL-06 No age gate or country ban for music streaming ads was found on any platform page opened.

## Open items for the owner
- This note is research for the brief's markets and platforms, not legal advice. Using a real brand's name and logo in an unofficial concept carries trademark and endorsement risk; a legal check before publishing, or Spotify's written approval, is the only route the sources name (R-01 S-03, R-03 S-16).
- RD-01: the Arabic wording of the non-affiliation line is a draft, owner to approve; no rule fixes its size, placement or hold time.
- Unconfirmed (summary only, no law text opened): Egypt comparative advertising conditions, limits on competitor marks, disclosure clarity, sponsored labels, free-offer and renewal rules (R-03 S-01 to S-03). The Official Gazette text of Law 181 and Law 82 of 2002 (trademarks) was not opened.
- Not researched: advertising law in MENA markets other than Egypt (Gulf, Levant, Maghreb); confirm before targeting them.
- Paid placement: if the owner wants to run this film as a paid ad on any platform, TL-01 applies and authorization from Spotify is needed at least on TikTok.
- No official YouTube page on music in ads was found; the film's music must be licensed or generated by code (run conditions, RC-08).

## Owner decision on RD-01 (2026-10-21, D-46)
The owner chose, after the endorsement and trademark risk was explained to him, to remove the non-affiliation line from the film entirely and keep it only in the gallery caption and the landing page card: "اشيل جملة غير رسمي من الفيديو خالص، وخليها في وصف الـ gallery وكارت صفحة الهبوط بس". This overrides the run condition placement (last frame) for this demo. The exact wording stays "Unofficial concept, not affiliated with Spotify"; ice/review/NOTE.md must state that the film carries no line and that the caption and the card must carry it.
