Proč právě tyto části

Projev o délce 4:37 je jeden argument: co dohoda dělá, tři odpovědi jejím kritikům a co se stane bez ní. Zachovalo se 36 celých replik (3 min 12 s projevu, s nádechem kolem každé) a zbytek byl vystřižen jen mezi větami, nikdy uprostřed věty ani zrychlením. Reel začíná jeho vlastní otázkou a odpovědí od 2:47 („Does this deal resolve all of the threats...? No. ... Yes.“), protože reference Al Jazeera začíná stejně, otázkou svého vypravěče. Pak následuje jeho úvodní věta, samotná dohoda a tři odpovědi kritikům jako tři kapitoly, se seznamem toho, co se ztratí „without this deal“, a jeho větou o diplomacii místo války. Vystřiženo: pasáž o tom, proč jednání trvala tak dlouho, plánování debaty a sjezdu a rozloučení, nahrazené krátkou datovanou kódou (USA z dohody odstoupily 8. května 2018), aby tvrzení z roku 2015 nezůstalo stát, jako by padlo dnes.

Běh tak, jak proběhl, verze po verzi, s každým kolem zpětné vazby od zadavatele. Převyprávěno podle konverzace v případové studii.

  1. Prompt

    Jedna zpráva v egyptské arabštině se dvěma soubory: raw.mp4, týdenní projev prezidenta Obamy z 18. července 2015 o dohodě s Íránem (4:37, na šířku), a reference.mp4, svislý reel Al Jazeera English o Íránu (3:13). Znovu sestříhat surový záznam přesně ve stylu reference s identitou Al Jazeera beze změny, najít a stáhnout nedávné skutečné oficiální záběry, úvodní otázky rozhodnout sám a ukázat náhled před stavbou.

  2. Čtení reference a surového záznamu

    Projekt se otevřel a dva průchody běžely vedle sebe: reference byla rozřezána na snímky a změřena (záběry, střihy, ostrost, barva) a obě videa byla přepsána slovo po slovu. Lokální modely rozpoznávání řeči chyběly, takže se nejdřív stáhl faster-whisper large-v3-turbo.

  3. Převzetí identity

    Logo Al Jazeera bylo vyjmuto z reference v 176 s a její závěrečná karta z posledních 3,8 s. Studiová obrazovka reference byla znovu postavena ze satelitní mapy Íránu NASA Blue Marble s hranicemi Natural Earth, tyrkysové a tmavé, s červenými sloupy světla po stranách.

  4. Brief, rozhodnutý samostatně

    Úvodní otázky vynechal prompt, takže každé pole dostalo doporučenou odpověď: reel s mluvčím v záběru v angličtině, 2:30-3:00 jako reference, Obama vždy s datem na obrazovce (THE WHITE HOUSE / 18 JUL 2015), aby žádný divák nebral rok 2015 jako dnešek.

  5. Kontrola faktů a papírový střih

    Přepis byl porovnán s oficiálním textem v Public Papers of the Presidents (govinfo); jedna chyba rozpoznávání řeči byla opravena. Pak papírový střih z 35 celých vět: jeho vlastní otázka a odpověď ze středu projevu se staly háčkem, jeho tři odpovědi kritikům kapitolami a detaily plánování byly vystřiženy.

  6. Vyříznutí postavy a oficiální záběry

    Obama byl vyříznut pomocí Robust Video Matting a umístěn do znovu postaveného studia. Výzkumník sesbíral oficiální záběry s jejich licencemi: audiovizuální služba EU z Vídně, fotografie ministerstva zahraničí a Bílého domu, prohlášení Bílého domu ze 14. července 2015, inspektoři MAAE (označení jako Nizozemsko, protože neexistují volné záběry z íránských zařízení) a odstoupení v roce 2018.

  7. První náhled

    Fáze 01 až 03 prošly rolí schvalovatele a náhled šel zadavateli před jakoukoli stavbou: 22 style frame, storyboard o 37 záběrech a papírový střih z 35 replik, dohromady 3:09.

  8. Poznámka zadavatele: žádná hudba z kódu

    Zadavatel slyšel zvuk vytvořený kódem v jiném testu a vyloučil ho. Běh stáhl svou partituru z kódu a změřil skladby z knihovny proti tmavému pomalému podkladu reference; tři nahrané skladby Pixabay byly sestřiženy pod prvních 30 s Obamy, aby zadavatel vybral, s nahranými zvukovými efekty, po jednom na každý pohyb.

  9. Poznámka zadavatele: důvody, ne kopie

    Náhled ztmavil Obamu uvnitř červené svatozáře. V reelech Al Jazeera je tmavá silueta na červené ten, o kterém se mluví, nikdy mluvčí. Zadavatel požádal o tabulku každého prvku reference: co ho ve slovech spouští, co znamená, na kom, kdy vstupuje a odchází. Pak limit relace zastavil běh na 1 h 43 min.

  10. Každý prvek vázaný na slovo

    Čtrnáct prvků reference bylo přečteno proti jejímu vlastnímu přepisu a každé objevení ve storyboardu teď jmenuje větu Obamy, která ho zdůvodňuje: Zarif pro „threats Iran poses“, signatáři pro „more than anyone“, Khamenei pro „Iran could move closer“. Obama zůstává osvětlený. Řádek se zeměmi byl obnoven, aby šest karet zemí dopadlo na každé jméno, které řekne.

  11. Druhý náhled

    Nové snímky, tabulka prvků a tři hudební animatiky šly zadavateli. Finální úprava byla změřena z reference a použita jen tam, kde ji používá reference: rozostření při střizích, bílé záblesky na kapitolách, filmová textura jen na šedých archivních kartách.

  12. Volba zadavatele

    Dvě slova od zadavatele: „تراك A“ (skladba A), „Tension Documentary“ od AtlasAudio. Bylo to svolení stavět.

  13. Stavba

    Disk C se za minutu zaplnil do nuly, takže render grafiky se zastavil a jeho dočasné soubory se přesunuly na D. Obraz byl vyrenderován ve čtyřech paralelních částech řezaných na hranicích záběrů, grafika s alfa kanálem a rozmazáním pohybu a hudba byla sestřižena do podkladu 3:18. Druhý limit relace zastavil běh od 04:21 do 07:33, zatímco se části dokončovaly.

  14. Předáno

    Čtyři části byly spojeny do 6053 snímků bez viditelného švu: 1080x1920, 30 fps, 3:21,8, -16,3 LUFS. Brána filmu je zelená se čtyřmi žlutými body, které zpráva uvádí otevřeně: pomalejší než reference (průměrný záběr 7,0 s oproti 4,0 s), nejslabší od 2:13 do 2:43. Nebylo provedeno hodnocení diváka bez kontextu ani nový přepis finálního zvuku.
